So, let’s talk about the new bridal trends for the Fall/Winter season of 2010.
It’s important to remember that you want to look fashionable and current for your wedding day but at the same time, when you’re looking back at your wedding album 10 years from now you want to see the “real” you and not just a fashion statement from 2010! So, with that said, here is what’s happening in bridal trends in makeup and hair for the Fall/Winter season of 2010.
It’s all about the eyes! Beautiful smokey eyes is what the next season calls for. The twist is, instead of using the typical blacks and charcoals for that smokey look, bridal fashion is leaning towards colours that are more sexy and sophisticated. Purples, smokey greys and blues are in. Think jewel tones and you can’t go wrong!
Bridal skin is clean and matte with lips and cheek colour looking very subtle. Soft and sexy is the look that works for next season with a punch of colour on the eyes.
I have to admit, hair has been so much fun in 2010. It’s less about structure and old fashioned updo’s. For ladies with long beautiful hair it's all about soft layers and soft bouncy curls. Hair that moves but still remains solid for the day. I can’t tell you how many chignon’s I’ve already done this season but they will continue strong for the rest of 2010. They really do mix that classic sophistication with current trends. It's a winning combo! Braids are big right now as well. For those ladies with short sassy sexy hair, beautiful flower pieces or jewels are added into the hair for some interesting and dynamic contrast.
