Generally, wireless speakers using Bluetooth as the connecting medium, but the Altec Lansing LIVE (LIVE 5000) using a Wifi connection as a replacement for Bluetooth that we usually encounter in a wireless speaker.
But before using external speakers, both PCs, mobile phones (Android, IOS) must install a special application provided by Altec Lansing LIVE.
Use of Wi-Fi as a replacement for Bluetooth would have several benefits ranging from more distant areas of coverage as well as more stable. LIVE 5000 is scheduled to be sold at a price that is not cheap, which is about U.S. $500.
