ASHTON Kutcher and Demi Moore are in a bitter battle over cash — despite both being worth millions.
According to US reports the divorce battle has turned nasty because the Two And A Half Men star, who this week topped the list of the highest paid TV actors, is refusing to sign off on the deal.A source said: “They are trying to negotiate a settlement out of court and out of the public eye.
“They still haven’t reached an agreement over money, because Ashton earned substantially more during the final years of their marriage, but he doesn’t want to pay a large settlement.”
The couple split in November after his fling with blonde 22-year-old Sara Leal and the 34-year-old actor is now dating Mila Kunis.
Ashton, who took over the lead in the sitcom from Charlie Sheen in February 2011, is paid £440,000 per episode and banked an estimated £15million last year.
His total worth is thought to be £87million, while Demi’s stands at £94million.
But the divorce is being dragged out while they negotiate a settlement, with friends accusing Ashton of being “so cheap” that he’s holding out for a better deal.
Another source said: “The discussion could boil over into a public court battle.”
