This is the BMW 328 reputed with one of the best performances of engineering skills coupled with impressive looks. This is the 75th year of its first launch and one of the celebrated birthdays in international automobile industry. In a grand ceremony near Lake Como at Mille Miglia the BMW 328 sports car is launched to be a visual treat for many; it stands here resplendent in all its earlier successes of the highest speed at Mille Miglia in 2010; in a week’s time this car will be one of the highlights at the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este. On this special occasion, BMW has come up with a specially designed re-launch of the designs and engineering highlights of the 328 with the BMW Hommage. It marks a special blend of the modern with the traditional. This has been specially built in celebration of the BMW 328 75th year. It brings together the same specifications of a high-end engineering standards coupled with the finesse of stylish outward designs.
The BMW Hommage is an example of a lightweight built-up of the body which is a combined use of aluminum and magnesium. The 1720 pounds of its weights comes from the carbon fiber body along with wheels. Beautifully structured twin leather seats inside along with wider tail lamps and a kidney grill at the front marks some of the outstanding features of this road stunner. It has a 3.0-liter engine 6 cylinder engine. There is a heavy use of carbon fiber renewed plastic both in on the exteriors and the interiors of the car. Instead of the usual doors, a huge gap makes access of the passengers easy and comfortable. It is in many ways a perfect homage as described aptly by the Company CEO Karl Blaumer. Hommage is not just a tribute to the excellence of the BMW 328 but is in itself a visual treat to behold.
