Lady Gaga fights weight gain rumours by taking all her clothes off

There's been a lot of speculation about Lady Gaga recently. All across the world, people are talking about whether or not it hurt when she got a tattoo on the back of her head. They're discussing what she did with the hair she shaved off from the back of her head. And they're gossiping about her reported weight gain - curiously not evident on the back of her head. And Lady Gaga is fighting back against it all. She's kicked off "body revolution 2012" - posting unedited pictures of herself in her underwear, and encouraging her fans to do the same. "My boyfriend prefers me curvier," she writes. "When I eat and am healthy and not so worried about my looks." "I am proud at any size" She's also apparently very flexible at any size.

And so she should be. Looking at the pictures, five things come to mind - and none of them have anything to do with her "weight gain". 1) Did she have to buy new underwear or is she actually already very good at timing her laundry so that she has matching bras and knickers that are clean at the same time? 2) Are we supposed to be able to lean back that far without falling over? 3) Did she actually fall over after the shutter clicked and the photo was taken? 4) Would her dad have prefered it if she'd had the photos taken from the other side, so that her tattoos weren't on show? 5) Where did she buy that gingham wallpaper? Cheer up Gaga - we think you look lovely

Gaga doesn't answer any of those questions on her website. But she does answer a few others in a letter to her fans: "I have been startled and overwhelmed with pride and emotion the past few days. Gratitude mostly. Seeing you post photos of things on your bodies and in your minds that you feel society tells you you should be ashamed of. You are showing them you have no shame. You are brave, strong, and accepting not only of yourself, but of others through your experiences. You are proud to be born this way, and brave in your vulnerability with this community. Watching you all create a safe space online for people to be compassionate is the greatest gift you could ever give me. My weight/loss/gain since i was child has tormented me. No amount of help has ever healed my pain about it. But YOU have. My boyfriend prefers me curvier, when i eat and am healthy and not so worried about my looks, I'm happy. Happier then I've ever been. i am not going to go on a psycho-spree because of scrutiny. This is who I am. And I am proud at any size. And i love you, and want you to be proud in any form you may take as well. Please don't look for kindness in critics, go where you know the gold is. Here, in out hearts.
