Taylor Swift recently sat down for an interview with Rolling Stone, where she clarified the strange rumor that she kidnapped boyfriend Conor Kennedy against his will.
USA Today reports that rumors circulated of Taylor missing her 18-year-old beau so much that she flew him on a private jet from his private boarding school in Massachusetts to her Nashville home in order for the singer to mend her lonely, aching heart.
And what did the Red singer think of that? “How did I kidnap him? You can’t kidnap a grown man!” Taylor told Rolling Stone. “These are serious accusations, now! It’s an interesting way to spin something into a story. See, this is why I don’t read stuff.”
But when it comes to being open and honest about love, Taylor explained why she thinks it’s important. “The way I look at love is you have to follow it, and fall hard, if you fall hard. You have to forget about what everyone else thinks.”
Swift was also asked about the alleged Kennedy wedding crashing in August, to which she swiftly responded that she had no clue and it was based on a huge misunderstanding.
Swift’s album Red hits stores October 15.
